The agreement

These terms apply to photo booth rental services provided by Booth Royale ("we") to the client named in a booking agreement ("you"). Your signed booking agreement and proposal describe the specific package, date, hours, and price for your event; if the two ever differ, your signed agreement governs.

Booking and payment

A date is reserved only when we receive your signed agreement and the retainer stated in your proposal. The retainer is applied toward your total and is non-refundable, as it holds your date against other bookings. The remaining balance is due fourteen (14) days before your event. Published founding rates apply to events booked while those rates are in effect.

Rescheduling and cancellation

You may reschedule once, to a new date within twelve months, with at least thirty (30) days' written notice, subject to our availability. If you cancel, the retainer is not refunded; if you cancel within fourteen (14) days of the event, the full balance remains payable, reflecting the reserved date and preparation completed.

What we need from you

Please provide a level indoor space of roughly eight by eight feet (or a covered, level outdoor space protected from weather), one standard power outlet within reach, and venue access approximately ninety minutes before your start time. Set-up and tear-down never count against your booth hours. You are responsible for obtaining any permission your venue requires for our equipment.

Equipment and conduct

Our attendant operates the booth throughout your event. We may pause service if the equipment or attendant is at risk of harm; paused time under those circumstances is not refunded. You are responsible for damage to our equipment caused by you or your guests, beyond normal wear.

Photos and delivery

Guests receive prints and digital copies during the event per your package. Your online gallery is delivered within seven (7) days after the event. We will not use photographs from your event in our marketing without your written permission.

Travel

Travel is included within 30 km of downtown Toronto; a flat $75 applies across the rest of the GTA, and locations farther afield are quoted per event.

Liability

If we cannot perform due to equipment failure or other causes within our control, our liability is limited to a refund of amounts you have paid. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by the venue, power failure at the site, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including severe weather and other force majeure events); in such cases we will work with you in good faith to reschedule. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Questions: hello@boothroyale.ca.
